Terms of Use
By using Mazad Syria you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Account
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Profile information must be accurate and current.
2. Content you post
You keep ownership of the text and photos you post, and grant us a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to display them inside the app and on Mazad Syria's own public share pages only — never for any other purpose.
The following is prohibited: any depiction of minors, sexual content, violence, weapons, drugs, human organs, counterfeit currency, stolen or counterfeit goods, fraudulent services, IP-infringing material, and anything that violates the law of Syria or your country of residence.
3. Chat & moderation
Your in-app conversations are private between you and the other user. We do NOT generally monitor conversations. When a participant taps the "Report" button inside a chat, our moderation team is granted access to that specific thread solely to respond to the report. Repeat offenders are permanently banned.
4. Featured listings & payments
You can purchase a "Featured listing" for: 24 hours, 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days. Payments are processed exclusively via:
- Apple App Store on iOS devices.
- Google Play Billing on Android devices.
We validate every receipt against Apple / Google servers before granting the Featured status. Refunds and disputes are governed by the store where the purchase was made — please contact Apple or Google directly. Invoice records are kept on our servers so we can reissue them on request.
5. Responsibility for peer-to-peer transactions
Mazad Syria is a classifieds platform only. Transactions (delivery, payment outside the app, inspection) happen directly between the buyer and the seller; we are not a party to them and do not guarantee them. We recommend you meet in a public place, inspect goods before payment, and never send money in advance to people you do not know.
6. Accounts & bans
We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these Terms, with or without prior notice, and to purge its data per the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
7. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete account). Your data is irreversibly deleted within at most 30 days (except security logs kept up to 90 days and invoice records where required by law).
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties. We are not liable for the accuracy of user-posted ads or the outcome of user transactions.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you in-app on material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Syrian law with respect to the service, while fully respecting the Apple App Store and Google Play policies that govern each user's relationship with those platforms.
